For those who fear trying, for worrying about standing out

The other day I felt like I really helped someone, it was her first session with us, and by our previous talk, I knew she wasn't a keen runner. Our planned session was a HIGH run session by our standards and I did not want to overwhelm her.
I've had quite a few inquiries these days and a lot
of it comes from people who want to join but fear not being fit enough, and fear how they'll fit in with everybody else.
I promise you, we are not an intimidating group. That's easy to say coming from someone comfortable with the situation,
but I want you to join us, to enjoy it
to gain self-confidence to gain fitness,
to build a great habit to benefit all areas of your life, hopefully for years to come
And so as we had Emily came along for her first workout I made some adjustments
Our workout planned had a whole lot of running, and I knew she isn't a big runner (currently) so I preplanned and given her an alternative little circuit she could do instead of the big run. She was still doing the main circuit and keeping up with everybody but instead of hitting out on a big, large run, I adapted it to suit her so that she didn't feel like she was missing out, didn't feel like she was being left behind, but still got to enjoy and feel that she had challenged herself to a really good level, that she was happy and proud of herself for what she'd done.
That's what we do. We want to get you out there. We want to get you happy, healthy, fit, feeling good about yourself, create a good self-image, build confidence in yourself. If you've thought about joining us and been tentative on that fence, then come along. Book it in with me, come for a trial, and we will make it work for you. There's ventured, nothing gained if you don't try it.
a great quote I hear today

See you later. Bye.
