“Injuries are the worst. Just when you feel like you are getting somewhere, like your building your fitness and you are feeling good and ready to step up your training, “Ping” and your calf/hamstring/achilles pull.
Injuries happen because the body isn’t moving properly, due to:
lack of mobility in the joints
muscles not activating
incorrect movement patterns
instability in the joints
This course is focused on fixing these issues. Taking the time to focus solely on movement and issues that could be causing the pain.
Our first 6-week course is going to focus on the hips and the upper leg area. We will be focusing specifically on:
mobility and restrictions, showing you how to fix or improve them
muscle stability and activation exercises to balance out the muscles so one side isn’t working hards than the other
managing post-injury muscles that need reactivating

I struggled for years to get the running results I was after and knew there must be a better way to run train. After 6 years of experience and research as a certified personal trainer & run coach, I've found the perfect balance.
Fitness is Fun is a bootcamp style programme based in Hamilton tailored to suit those interested in run training. It combines strength and speed training with stretching and mobility to prevent injury. It's a fun and social way of training that helps people to become fitter, faster, stronger runners.

Our small group sessions mean our knowledgeable trainers can focus on giving you the attention you need, it allows us to get to know you, and push you to your best abilities. Our sessions are a mix of high intensity and strength, mobility and stretching and fundamental movements.
